Resilience.

This Aloha Friday comes after the highs and lows of the Tuesday election and after another mass shooting, this time in Southern California. How do we manage our emotions when violence erupts week after week. It can wear us down, even begin to numb us when it becomes so frequent. How do we boost our resilience through these trying times? We take one moment at a time, we send sympathy to the grieving families and communities and we take the time to feel the sadness ourselves that can overwhelm and sometimes take us down. Then, we look at what has happened in the elections that boost our confidence and hope that over 100 women elected to Congress can begin to change the direction and the culture of our spirit impoverished nation. The female energy that is badly needed to balance the male ego dominated politics will bring us back to nurturing and healing the wounds that have deepened the despair and anger in this country. Last December I mentioned 2018 would be the year of the woman and indeed it has been. It is time for the men and women healers of the earth with their feminine energy to lead us to wholeness. Women, it is time for all of us to become empowered to heal ourselves, our nation and the world. We have the enormous collective power to care for people, all people, and to help each other Rise UP. It is not the time for hate, bitterness, anger and revenge. We are higher than that. Women lead with empathy, kindness, strength, intelligence, integrity and common sense. We invoke by our very nature, a better way to Be in the world. We know the priority and power of feeling our best physically, mentally and spiritually can manifest the change we want to see in the world. When we care for ourselves, we can lead others to do the same, each one affecting countless others, as we navigate the rough waters of our times. With the support of each other and the nurturing guidance of accountability, we can heal each other and move forward to care for our families, our communities, our nation and our Mother Earth. We see the BIG picture, you see, and when we Rise, we ALL Rise. Let our hearts come together and align our potential for healing our futures. There is no choice. We must act now, like our lives depend on it. Because they do. We collectively grieve together because we are all connected. Anyone taken from this earth could be our sister, our brother, a mother, a father, aunt, uncle, cousin, grandparent or dearest friend. We all relate to loss. Let us feel the sadness together and when we can, move forward to change our world for the better. Women! Men! Rise UP! BE the ALOHA YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD. Peace and Love, your coach.
